As a former Queen with her beginning in 2014 as a dare by a friend to compete in a pageant, soon unlocked a total of 5 pageant titles before she retired in 2018.  That was not the end journey for her, and soon became the first Pageant Director for a local festival before her formal retirement from the industry in 2024 due to health. 

When Sara Taylor originally created More Than a Crown Magazine in June 2022,  she didn’t just create another pageant Magazine, she ignited a movement. Fueled by passion, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the industry, MTAC quickly became the go-to platform for the voices behind the crown. It was not until mid way through season 2024 that she realized it was time to expand the publications to #morethanjust one magazine.

Every issue is a labor of love, crafted entirely by Sara herself, from creative direction to stunning design, she personally shapes every page with energy, purpose, and a relentless commitment to excellence for every sash sister.
